Running a Billing Report
- Click Home > Reports and choose the report.
- Set the filters, such as the date range and client.
- Click Generate Report. Then export it to CSV or schedule it by email. See How to Run a Report.
A Simple Routine
- Start of each month: run Account Receivable and follow up on anything more than 30 days overdue. See Using the Invoice Tracker.
- Monthly or quarterly: run Client Income to see revenue trends by client.
- When you reconcile: run Payment Details and match it to your bank statement.
Common Problems
- A paid invoice still shows as owed. The payment hasn't been recorded or was applied to another invoice. See Recording Client Payments.
- Recent invoices are missing. Drafts aren't counted until they're finalized. See Finalizing and Sending an Invoice.
- A client’s total includes a credit you don’t recognize. Look for an adjustment on that client. See Creating Billing Adjustments.
