I Can't Log In: What Should I Do?
Find out why you can't sign in and get back into Time Tracker
Applies to: Workforce · Premium · LawBillity
Most sign-in problems come down to a password, a 2FA code, or the account itself. Find what you're seeing below. If nothing works, your firm's Time Tracker admin can check your account.
Time Tracker's sign-in page is at secure.ebillity.com. See How to Log In to Time Tracker.

If...
Do this
You forgot your password, or it isn't accepted
Click
Forgot your password? on the sign-in page and follow the link in the email. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive. See
How to Reset Your Password.
You sign in with Google, Microsoft, Intuit, ADP, or Xero
Use the same sign-in button you used before. If that password needs resetting, reset it with that provider, not in Time Tracker.
Your account is locked after several tries
Wait 15 to 30 minutes, then try again.
You were suddenly signed out and got an email about 2FA
Your admin turned on two-factor authentication. Follow the setup instructions in the email, then sign in again. See
Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
Your 2FA code isn't accepted
Use the newest code. Email codes can land in spam. For an authenticator app, make sure your phone's clock is set automatically. See
Enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
It says your account isn't found
Check you're using the email address your firm invited. If it's right, ask your admin whether you've been uninvited or disabled.
The mobile app won't let you sign in, but the web app does
Your admin may have set Mobile App Login to Disabled for you. Ask them to allow it.
The page won't load or keeps going back to sign-in
Clear your browser's cache and cookies, or try a private window or a different browser.
For Admins
- Check the person in Admin > Manage Users. People who were uninvited or disabled can't sign in. Use Invite to send a new invitation. See Removing a User: Uninvite and Disable.
- Mobile access is set per user: Mobile App Login in Admin > Settings > Timer Settings, or Allow Mobile Login on the user's Overview tab.
