If you have payroll items enabled in QuickBooks, you can make them visible to administrators and employees in eBillity.
To turn on the payroll items feature, click the admin tab and open the "Time" page. Towards the bottom of the "Time" page you will see a new option titled, "Payroll Settings". Click "yes" to enable payroll items for Admin users in eBillity and hit the "save" button.
As an administrator you also have the option to make payroll items visible to your employees. To achieve this check "yes" next to the option titled "payroll access for workers" and hit the "save" button.
To specify which payroll items are visible to each of your employees navigate to the "Manage Workers" page and click the "Payroll Access" link next to the relevant employee.
You should now see a pop-up window. In that window, adjust the payroll items you want visible to your employees. In the example below, the admin has made all payroll items visible except for overtime.
Note - you need to un-select the option titled "all current and future payroll" to view the payroll items list (as shown above).
Once enabled, employees can see payroll items on the "Weekly Time Entry" page.
Payroll items are also visible in the "Create New Time Entry" menu option:
To view your employees time entries with payroll items in QuickBooks open QuickBooks in a new browser window. Then run the sync manager. Your time payroll items will be imported with payroll items.
