What Employees See vs. What Admins See

Know what each person can see and do, so you give them the right role

Applies to: Workforce · Premium · LawBillity

What someone sees in Time Tracker depends on their role. Use this when you're choosing a role for a new person, or when someone on your team says they can't find a page.

For the difference between Super Admin, Admin, Manager, and Employee, see Understanding User Roles.

When Someone Can't Find Something

  1. Click Admin > Manage Users.
  2. Open the menu at the end of the person's row and click Edit User.
  3. Open the Access Permissions tab. Their role and the clients and projects they can use are set there.
  4. If their role doesn't include the feature, either give them a different role or ask an admin to do the task for them.
